Well, hello and welcome back to the Unbothered Blonde's podcast. Today you have me and Grant.

Hey, what's up, everybody? It's been a hot minute since we have recorded a couple weeks.

And you'll know that a couple episodes back, Kate came on and announced that she was kind of taking a step back on the podcast.

And then I also decided that instead of, you know, putting the pressure

on myself to have to get a new episode out every single week that I wanted to focus on quality

over quantity and really making sure that, you know, we still enjoyed doing the podcast because,

as you'll know, we don't have any ads. We're not making any money off of this. It's

just something to give back to all of you. So here we are. I think only the second ever one this

month of June. And there's a lot going on in our world. So we kind of just wanted to do a little

update. And we just got back from Vegas. We took Croy to Vegas. So how is that Grant?

Very, very hot. It was like 117 or 118 degrees in Vegas. Super hot. So we definitely

stayed inside in the air conditioning all the time. So that was that wasn't too bad. But

overall it was fun. We had some great meals and just honestly, it was a great trip.

And you know, what's crazy is I don't think we would have changed the time frame that we went

because the whole reason that we went was for Father's Day weekend,

and it was also my Nana's birthday.

So when after my Aunt Dee had passed away right before COVID shut down and she had been

dependent upon my grandparents for 20 years of her life, um, after a life altering stroke, my nana

then said that she wanted to go to Vegas. And, but that, but then COVID shut everything down. And so

they couldn't go. And then my nana got sick and passed. And after that, my mom checked in on,

on our popo, seeing how he felt about traveling or, you know,

getting back as things were getting back open.
