What then is that one thing we need to truly make us happier?

1. Understand your own needs, wants, and desires.
2. Shift your perspective. Take time to reflect on the good in your life and to express gratitude and appreciation for all that you have.
3. Take control of your thoughts and emotions: Your thoughts and emotions have a powerful impact on your life, and it is important to take control of them.
4. Take action. What is ONE thing you can actively do daily that will bring you one step closer to meeting your needs, wants and desires? 
5. Surround yourself with positive and supportive people.
