We are living in an AI world. No question. Machines can now write those emails, generate

presentations, even spit out marketing campaigns in seconds. And I hear leaders say, well,

if the machines can do all that, do we really need to master communication anymore? Well,

let me be blunt, okay? That's maybe the most dangerous thinking that I've

heard in 35 years. AI can generate information. It can crunch numbers. It can write paragraphs,

build slide decks. But AI cannot look somebody in the eye and change their mind. It cannot feel

the pulse of the room and pivot in real time. It cannot build trust and stir emotion or create the kind of

human connection that makes people want to follow you into the unknown. And that's exactly what

influence is. Influence isn't information transfer. It's transformation. Moving people from doubt to belief,

from resistance to action, from fear to confidence.

No machine can do that. Only you, the human, can. Here's the danger if leaders don't get this.

We're about to be buried under an avalanche of AI generated noise, emails, reports, proposals,

all machine made, safe, predictable, generic. Leaders who delegate

persuasion to AI will disappear into a sea of sameness. But the rare few who could step into a room

and communicate with clarity, conviction, and human truth, those are the leaders who will dominate.

They will be the signal in a world drowning in noise.
