Hi friends and welcome to the papaya podcast. I'm your hostess, Try and Hermostis, Sarah Nicole,

0:10.2

and each week I'm going to be dishing out some sweetness mixed in with some seeds of wisdom

0:15.6

or something like that. So get ready to get inspired, get candid, get real, because we are all in this digital

0:23.3

space together. All right, everyone, welcome back. We are talking about confidence today. And this is one of

0:32.7

my absolute favorite subjects to talk about. But we all have our different life advice and ways that we

0:38.3

move through things like confidence. And I'm excited to bring on guests Simone Canego today,

0:43.8

who is going to be chatting with us all about unshakable confidence, which is, I'm excited to

0:52.3

dive into this. This is your area of expertise. Please introduce yourself and how you got

0:57.7

into this type of work. Absolutely. Thank you for having me here. So first of all, I am a mom of six. I'll

confidence from the kitchen table to the boardroom because it's not confidence that, you know,

1:26.5

you'll see people that say, oh, you know, they're confident in this

1:29.3

situation. I want women to feel comfortable in their skin no matter where they are, no matter who

1:34.5

they're with. So I was actually a stay-at-home mom for 10 years. I've got four kids. My sister has

1:39.9

six kids. So like when you say six kids, that actually feels quite normal for our family. But I'm

1:45.7

wondering what impacted motherhood have on either shaking your confidence or building your

1:51.6

confidence? Because I feel like it really can go one direction or another. And sometimes it

1:55.3

ebbs and flows a lot between the two. Yeah, I would say for me, it ebbs and flows. I mean, now that

2:00.5

the kids are older, then definitely say for me, it ebbs and flows. I mean, now that the kids are older,

2:01.8

then definitely I see that they're turning out to be great humans. So I feel like, okay,

2:07.8

that's a big confidence booster. But, you know, there's no manual when you have a kid, right? Each
