online for many, many years. I actually, I was looking back and I was like, when did you actually

0:59.7

start as a creator? Like, what was your, you're one of those people. I'm like, most people I'm like

1:07.2

have a benchmark. Like, I feel like I've watched you have the kids. So I'm like, it's before that. It's pre-kid.

1:14.4

I remember specifically when, like, you reposted one of my videos because there's like, you know, maybe two or three creators that reposted me that went, you're the reason like I have followers. So thank you for that. Oh, sick. That's so cool. Yeah. Let's see. Well, it was April 16th, 2020. It was, I can almost literally remember the date because, you know, it was that COVID time. I don't know if you recall that. Yeah, I remember it. Yeah, that one. And it was right when real, was it, were they called Reels back then? Yeah, it was like when Reels came out. Yeah, yeah, it was still new. And so I was like, okay, I'm just going to try to learn this, whatever. And then that's when I started to actually grow after doing this since, I don't know, I started my blog in 2009. Yeah. Okay, so you're like me.

2:04.1

Yeah. You're like me. We started as bloggers, but like everyone's like, how long's your career

2:08.2

and I'm like, well, like 18 years, but like most of it was just me figuring, learning. Like,

2:13.3

it's not, nobody was watching any of this stuff, but you're still doing it. 2009's awesome. Mine's 2008, so we're very similar. Yep, we are the oldest in the game. Yep. Which is fun. You know, I love it. Crazy for 25 that we could have had a career that long, but yeah, sure. I know. It is. So I just kind of had like steady growth, you know, just trucking along. And then Reels came out and that

2:35.8

definitely helped me. And people like you actually were posting. And I thought I had like,

2:40.0

I panicked because I'm like, oh my gosh, someone sent me a bunch of robots or like I thought it was like,

2:44.9

I've had that happen. I actually emailed, I emailed Instagram once. Like I emailed Meta and I was like,

2:50.1

I think something's happened to my account. And they were like, like, I emailed meta and I was like, I think something's

2:50.9

happened to my account. And they were like, actually, this is showing us organic growth. And I was like, okay, just kidding. Never mind. Yeah, sometimes it gets really funny like that. I've never gotten a bulk of followers before. So I was like, I've been hacked. And then it's like, no. This is like, okay, this is what young people on TikTok experience all the time.

3:07.7

Yes.

3:08.0

And I'm a boomer and I'm like, it's a robot.
