Hello my friends are you ready are you ready to get your mind

align with the truth of God for this day let's not think too far in the future

let's just think about today.

We've got our work cut out for us.

We've got 24 hours here to live in a way that is empowered by

the spirit of the living God.

And that's not hyperbole or exaggeration, that is exactly

what we have the opportunity to do because we are believers in Jesus Christ. We have the King of Kings greater than any president or prime

minister. We have the Lord of Lords, the one who calls the shots in the universe living within us.

And that has happened because of what took place

thousands of years ago on a hill in Judea where Jesus Christ was crucified and we're talking about that in

today's episode that's why I'm spending time kind of recounting what's happened

because the Apostle Paul is making an argument about the kind of lives we as

believers in Christ should live. He's in Romans chapter 6 verses 1 through 4.

And he's brought up the question of whether or not

we should continue in sin is the way he says it, go on sinning,

so that grace might increase, because he's just said before that

where sin abounds grace abounds all the more. So the logic could be well then I

should send more so that I get more grace.

But the point Paul's making is that there has been a fundamental shift in who we are,

and it happened thousands of years ago at that cross I mentioned.

Even though we weren't alive then.
