Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

On our last searchlight program, we began looking at one of the most powerful and practical

sections of scripture in all the Bible Romans chapter 5 the first four

chapters of Romans told us that we are free from the penalty of sin but now the

Apostle shifts gears and tells us that there is also a solution to the power of sin in our lives.

As we join our teaching today, we are considering the fact that even though we sin,

grace from God continues to be poured out on us. This raises the question,

should we go on sinning then so grace can abound? The answer is no, because sin always brings

bad repercussions. With a further explanation of this, here now is Pastor John. David, you're

forgiven, but there are repercussions that will come from your sin.

You're forgiven and that sin is forgotten, but David, know this.

You plant seeds and the seeds are going to produce a crop and the crop will come in.
