The The The And then. Oh, Oh, well. So, I'm going to go. The God's eye. A location is central to the continent of Westeros as it is to so many of the stories and subplots within stories that we love.

It has long been a source of wonder and discussion for the fandom mentioned early in a game of

Thrones along with several other famous locations when the world

building was still new to us it was it came up even then and it's still important all these

years later likewise in world it's an extremely old place the site of the pact

legends if not truths of the green men and other things have persisted for

thousands of years yet it also has developments of historically recent relevance.

Heron Hall of course is only 300 years old at the start of the song of ice and fire,

but it has quite a reputation already, one that is added to during the books.

And we go back to the time of the dance it's only

130 years old during which we're privy to events that give Heron Hall some of that

very reputation that makes it so compelling and dangerous in a song of ice and fire.

Only the North has a challenge to the God's eye as the most supernatural of the story-centric

regions of Westeros, if not any region of Westros, arguably.

But we have two cannons to deal with here as well.

Strictly speaking, the show doesn't change what happened in the book, of course,

but it can illuminate the books in ways we hadn't considered

or hadn't considered much we've got ideas basically fresh theories and changes to

older ones and perhaps some validation on a few others.
