... Alice Rivers tells Damon that Heron Hall is cursed and it's an idea we've heard before in a song of ice and fire from many

other people curiously though the reasons Alice gives for the curse are not the

same reasons we hear from those others there There is thus some debate here on the origins of

this purported curse. Perhaps the answer is there are multiple, a topic we will discuss today,

but debating the origin of a curse strongly implies belief in that curse in the first place, and belief in curse is part of what gives them power.

Though in Westros, the supernatural is real, so that can give them power. The supernatural is real, so that can give them power too.

But it is rare, however.

I mean, how many locations in Westros can you think of off the top of your head

that are considered cursed? What about an esos or sothorios? There's definitely some and will mention a lot or most of them in this episode, but it's not a long list and what does that even mean?

Cursed. Where does the idea of a curse come from in the first place in

Westeros and a little bit we're going to ask about the real world too.
