Hello there, Dunder Miffle Knight, and welcome back to another episode of The Office ASMR,

a podcast that I enjoy making so that you can enjoy sleeping. Tonight we are on Season 5,

episode 6, this is Employee Transfer, and this season is going to mess me up a little bit because

I am going by the production codes on Wikipedia, but IMDB uses a different production code number for

them, so if it seems like I'm missing an episode in Season 5, I am not, and I'm just confirming that

here as I look at the Wikipedia page for this episode. It's not a big deal, but it's the little things,

you know, a person who pays attention to this stuff, but that's neither here nor there.

Tonight's episode aired October 30th, 2008. It was directed by David Rogers, written by Anthony Farrell,

and we have some guest stars in this one because we see Jim's brothers, and we say goodbye to Holly

for now. As you know, Employee Transfer is Holly because in the last episode we ended with an

on-amanness look from David Wallace, while there's a look, and then he said, no, I did not know that

Michael was dating Holly, and I don't know that it's a revenge play from David, but

that's interesting. I never really thought deeper into why David does this. I think it is a professional

move, and clearly Michael would do anything to help under Riffland because in the deposition episode,

Michael turned on Jan, so he lost Jan, it was rough. I guess I never really thought deeper on that,

that's an interesting character move, I guess, or David Wallace, that we should explore,

because Michael doesn't have been giving him a hard time when he goes to Canada, he says,

why did you do it? And then he talks to his friend, he says, who still has their job when they

talk to their boss like that? So this is going to kick off a weird arc for Michael too, because I

guess this ultimately leads to Michael's got paper company. Wow, incredible, which shows incredible,

so suddenly we get into the episode, oh I did, I did just want to, I always want to say thank you
