New York City mayoral candidate Andrew Yang telling reporters he will stop charging

people with sex crimes and possession of narcotics if he's elected mayor.

Said Mr. Yang, quote, the first thing we need to do is decriminalize things that aren't

really hurting people.

At least 70,000 Americans died from drug overdoses last year.
