But first, a senior U.S. official says that U.S. and Iran have all the ingredients of a deal.

David Perdue, former senator from Georgia, as they both get ready to meet with Xi in May. Our Treasury Secretary, Scott Besson, said that a proposed executive order that would

require banks to collect citizenship information is, quote, in process. He said, and I don't think

it's unreasonable, because why don't we have information on who's in our banking system?

The draft executive order was first reported earlier in this year and would require banking

institutions to request additional identification documents from customers.

And this would be all in an effort to crack down on illegal immigration.

Senator Tom Cotton said access to the American banking system is a privilege that should

be reserved for those who respect our laws and sovereignty. When individuals are allowed to open accounts without

verifying legal status, we are permitting illegal aliens to establish financial routes and integrate
