institutions that have firmly entrenched themselves and become the dominant mode of being in the world.

And you can't typically do anything about that.

It's really hard to knock down one of these megalithic institutions.

The only thing that seems to do it really well is an

unstoppable idea. Like an idea that is just, it has to be an idea. So it's bulletproof, right? It permeates

people's minds. It wins hearts and minds by serving individual interest, just like Zero served the individual

interest of the merchant and Bitcoin serves the individual interest of the entrepreneur

in terms of preserving purchasing power across time.

And that seems to be the only viable way that history shows us that otherwise immovable institutions can be brought down is with this unstoppable idea.

So we don't see it often, but man, when it happens, the world changes a lot.
