Summary
After Caitlin and her husband moved into her grandparents’ old house in rural Louisiana, she often found herself there alone at night while he traveled for work.
One evening she was lying in bed with her two dogs when both animals suddenly shot upright and stared at the bedroom door.
A moment later, she heard the hallway door open. Then footsteps moving down the hall toward her room. Every door in the house was locked.
And when the footsteps stopped outside her bedroom door, something else happened that she still can’t explain.
