Summary
Colonial Williamsburg is known for its history, but some people believe parts of it hold more than just stories from the past.
While researching hauntings connected to one of the historic taverns on the property, a historian began hearing about strange events tied to the building. What started as curiosity about a long-forgotten figure from the tavern’s history quickly turned into something far stranger.
It began with odd footsteps inside the building when no one else should have been there. Then people started reporting something even more unsettling—seeing someone who looked exactly like her inside the tavern when she wasn’t there at all.
And one night, while closing the building alone, she heard a voice in the darkness that made the entire situation far harder to explain.
