Summary

The border crisis continues to threaten national security, so House Homeland Security Committee members are considering possible impeachment proceedings against Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas for the lack of border control. In a recent hearing, Rep. Mark Green (TN-7) highlighted Secretary Mayorkas’ “ignorance” of drug cartels’ strategies. ACLJ Action, our sister organization, launched a letter campaign to impeach Secretary Mayorkas for lying to Congress, violating federal law, refusing to secure the border, unconstitutionally censoring Americans on social media, and allowing the largest expansion of drugs, human trafficking, and illegal immigration on record.
