Now John and Marlene Stryke were the first couple ever to adopt a fertilized egg, a frozen

embryo, or as they referred to them, a snowflake baby.

That adoption resulted in a successful pregnancy and the birth of their daughter, Hannah.

John Straggy is a semi-retired sports writer and author.

He's had two New York Times best-selling books.

His wife Marlene is a retired occupational therapist,

and together they are the parents of the first snowflake child, their daughter Hannah.
