Today's tip is about how one company has kept their casual interactions going,

after going virtual.

Matt Hall runs Hill Investment Group, which turns 15 years old this year.

I did a before breakfast episode last year, in which I mentioned the company's ritual of T-time.

People would stop to take a social break in mid-afternoon,

in order to renew their energy for the last hour or so of the workday.

People tend to need a break then anyway, and when everyone takes one, it doesn't seem weird.

Because of rituals like this, I know that Matt thinks a lot about productivity

and keeping people engaged.

And so I asked how he'd been adjusting to virtual work, in the wake of COVID-19.

He noted that in the past, I've been against remote work.
