So my girlfriend was telling me about this game that she was playing in her business ethics class, right?

It's called the dollar game.

And basically, the rules of the game are everybody in the class randomly will get a piece of paper.

That piece of paper will either have a dollar sign, a line, or an S on it, right? There's about 40 kids in the class, six people

will get the dollar signs, all at random. The people with the dollar signs, and before they

started playing the game, they all had to wager 10 extra credit points. So no matter what, everybody

started 10 extra credit points in the whole for the whole class.

And the dollar signs started with 60 extra credit points.

Well, if you got a dollar sign, there you are.

You have 60.

You have 15 minutes to make a contract with people in the class and then turn it into like cash it on extra credit points.

You know what I mean?

And the dollar signs, they couldn't just hold out and not do a contract and then turn it at like cash and on extra credit points you know what i mean and the dollar

to get all 60 they had to make at least one contract right okay right and so she was telling me like oh

and another very important very important part of the game is that if five of

the six dollar signs agree and want to sign a contract you can completely change the rules of the game

any rule of the game that you want to naturally naturally so it's crazy right so she tells me they get

going people are making deals with their friends obviously a lot of people are getting fucked over they're just 10 in the hole because they don't have friends. You know what to make deals with? So she got this bright idea. She's like, oh, what if I just went to the dollar signs and said, hey, we can change the fucking rules. Let's all just max out our extra credit points. Let's all just go in there and say, all right, everybody can just have the

max extra credit points and that's it. That's the game. We're chilling. They got five of the six to

agree, almost got five of the six to agree. Four turn their contracts into the professor. The professor's

like, oh, okay, one more and this goes through. Like, it's confirmed. The last person backs out of the deal last minute. It's done. Everybody gets fucked over. Oh, my goodness. But get this. The highest person in the class that got the points at the end, they got 35 points.
