Some of you may remember in elementary school doing arts and crafts, doing like, you know, macaroni art on the plate, gluing it on.

Absolutely loved it, making pretty pictures and everything.

Right, making pretty pictures.

Well, in Massachusetts, art has turned into a nightmare because in a Massachusetts school, I think it's a kindergarten.

Okay.

For Black History Month, they did some plate art.

No, they didn't. No, they didn't, they did some plate art. No, they didn't.

No, they didn't.

They did some plate art.

But it ended up with the kids just doing blackface.

The teacher had them do plate art and then take photos of them holding the plate, which was blackface, up to the kid's face.

Naturally, this caused outrage amongst the community outrage in the year of our Lord 2022.

How could she have thought?

Like, she couldn't have thought this through a little bit harder.

I don't know.

Like, she couldn't have saw what they were doing and be like,

maybe we should pump the brakes a little bit.

Yeah, you didn't think for one second that having kids make played art of black faces and hold it up to their face was a bad idea, maybe? Yeah, yeah. Maybe that's not the smartest move. Maybe that's just a little racist. Also, how does that celebrate Black History Month? Like, in what? What is it celebrating? Like what accomplishment of a black leader is that

celebrating or like progress that has been made? You could have just done like a MLK lesson. That's what I was

about. Yeah. You could have just done a presentation on the civil rights movement, taught them about

slavery if that's allowed still in your state. You definitely did not need to just do blackface.
