Hall of Game Awards induction ceremony. This year's class was illustrious. Historical

hurler Jim Mudcat Grant, exciting lead-off man Kenny Lofton, terrifying pitcher J.R. Richard,

tremendous slugger Dick Allen, and immortal first baseman Eddie Murray. Bob Kendrick,

the president of the Nebrily Museum, asked me to host it, and it was my honor to do so.

The Nebrily Museum is an institution dedicated to preserving the work of the people of the Nebrily

Museum. It gives me great pleasure to introduce a guy who I certainly call my friend. I met him

several years ago, and I told him earlier today he came in and hosted the event last year,

and I guess we didn't scare him too bad because he came back again to host it this year, and he is

very funny. You've seen him on the hit TV series, whose line is it anyway? Comedian actor,

extremely intelligent. So y'all got to stay with him now. Stay with him, and please welcome to

the state your MC, your host, Mr. Greg Proops.

It's two times in a performer's career when he plays at the Negro Hall of Game Induction

Sam on his once on the way up, and once again on the way down. It's nice to be back.

I was here last year at Bob's invitation, and I really appreciate it. This is a gig where if you

promise not to ask for any money, they'll have you back every year. I came here for the barbecue.

We had a magnificent lunch in today, and I can't believe it all y'all eat here in Missouri.

Coulslaw, white bread, barbecue, ribs, brisket, french fries, five-wheeled lift here,

a way like 500 pounds, like some of all y'all. Now the point is this.

I'm a San Francisco Giants fan, so Kansas City has a lot of beautiful memories for me.
