Hey everybody, it's James Lindsay, and you are listening to the New Discourses podcast,

and we are doing another exciting episode of the Nazi experiment series.

In fact, this should be the 13th volume of that series.

If we stick to the formally numbered ones, there are a couple others floating

around beyond those. And we explored in the last episode this idea of the fake Christian

religion that was offered to Germans as a bridge faith, as I called it, a way to get off of their

Christian beliefs and onto Nazi beliefs. Think of it like a ferry boat. And this movement was

called the Positive Christianity Movement. And I read to you from a book called Positive Christianity

in the Third Reich that is by, I'm assuming it's pronounced

Caius, it's C-A-J-U-S, Caius Fabricius. I said that's probably a pseudonym and went on and on

about that and that I didn't, I wasn't sure if he was real. Turns out he is real. I looked into that.

He's actually, that is him. I don't know for sure if that's his real name, but that's the name.

And anyway, I digress.

We talked about the positive Christianity movement,

and I explained in that episode that Alfred Rosenberg is Hitler's chief ideologist.

That was literally his job, chief ideologist of the Reich.

So it was Alfred Rosenberg's job, his duty, to tell the story of the Nazi people, to write the

myth that they would sign up to. The pseudo-tradition that these pseudo-traditionalist fascists would adopt and believe as the true

tradition of their people. And there's an important point there. The radical right, the

fascist right, or the woke right, really, what makes them woke is partly this. The woke right

subscribes to not traditionalism like conservatives do, but to pseudo-traditionalism, which means
