Putting that idea into practice started with a movement, but it required a totalitarian state apparatus to fully implement, to tremendous disaster. What was Adolf Hitler's real vision for the Nazi State? He makes it plain: the primary, if not sole, purpose of the state is to protect and improve the race. That is, Hitler's state wasn't ethnonationalist as a matter of happenstance but centrally, by design. In that regard, given the realities of Europe and the world, the Holocaust, and additional such racially motivated purges, were completely predictable all the way back to the mid-1920s in Mein Kampf. 0:24.2	continuing our long series on the Nazi experiment. This is the 10th volume in that series, which
0:33.5	given the fact that there's one prequel episode makes it really the 11th,
0:38.3	and there's a bullet two, which kind of makes it the 12th.
0:40.8	So we're really getting into the details here.

0:43.8	It's kind of funny.
0:44.6	The first episode that I actually read formally for the series was chapter 1 of the second volume of Mind
0:52.8	Kempf, where I laid out Hitler's vision for his racialist worldview.
0:59.1	The second chapter has been a target goal ever since then, not just because it comes next,
1:05.9	but because it contains such important ideas.
1:09.3	The problem is that the chapter is super long.
1:12.5	And so I'm going to have to break it into either two or three pieces to cover all of it.
1:16.1	And the more I go back and forth and reread it, the more I think I have to cover all of it.
1:20.8	But at the beginning of this chapter, chapter two of volume two of Mind Kampf,
1:27.1	we see Hitler take this idea of his racialist worldview,
1:30.7	or Veltenchong, and apply it to a racialist state.
1:35.8	In other words, the idea becomes concrete in the state.
1:40.3	Hitler is going to be absolutely specific that the purpose of the state is to maintain and
1:48.0	to purify the race so that it might advance humanity.
1:54.1	So this is where you can derive a concrete understanding that where the communists sought
