For years, activists have claimed that greater social acceptance and affirmation of

LGBTQ identifying individuals would lead to better mental health outcomes for them.

Implicit in the claim is the idea that, and I quote would lead to better mental health outcomes for them.

Implicit in the claim is the idea that, and I quote here,

widespread prejudice against homosexual people

causes them to be unhappy or worse mentally ill.

However, according to a soon to be published paper by researcher Amy

Hamilton, the science does not support this claim. Research from three different continents

in fact reveal that a more accepting social environment does not necessarily bring improvement to psychological

distress or suicidal behavior for that population.

In fact, it could be the opposite.

One study found that younger LGBTQ identifying people, race raised in more affirming social environments were even

worse than their older cohorts.

Look, we've been lied to.

See, the science here was never settled like we were told.

In fact, the research trend right now is to show us just

how ideologically corrupted that medical, educational, psychological, and scientific experts

have become on these questions about sex, gender, and identity.

And of course, it's the kids who are the victims.
