Okay, this was interesting, and it's the story that just won't end.

It won't go away.

And I think that's fitting because for Maverick fans, it's not going to go away anytime soon.

The trading of Luca, the selling of the team by Mark Cuban was what, I guess, put this in

the motion when he did sell the team back in December of

2023 for $3.5 billion.

And we wonder what the team would be like now if Mark Cuban still owned him.

Well, Cuban has talked about this from time to time.

This is pretty raw, though, and by now you've probably heard the big lead statement

of this podcast called Intersections that is co-hosted by former Dallas mayor Tom Leppert.

No, but I want to hear this one.

I know. It's pretty interesting.

And we've got a few comments from Cuban that maybe you haven't heard just yet.

So they got on the topic of, okay, Mark, you sold the team.

That was pretty unusual for a guy who was so

all in. The Mavericks were his life, basically. And he was asked if he had regret about selling

the team back in December of 23. It's a big emotional commitment, right?

You hear the passion and everything.

Now, imagine going up and down like that every single game.

You know, that's hard.

To my kids, they were coming of the age where they would be of the mindset.
