All right, recently on the Musers, the podcast, somehow we got into the topic of imaginary friends.

And George, you told the story of your middle child who, yeah, it was on our birth order podcast.

Your middle child who had imaginary teammates, basketball teammates, Reese Rice and Russ, and their star player, Davis Cologne.

Davis Cologne was the star of the team and he would go out and play these imaginary games

on our back patio to the point where sometimes we would look out and he would be laying down

on the ground. Are you okay? Yeah, I just got fouled. It was a hard foul. You're still down on the ground. Are you okay? Yeah, I just got fouled.

It was a hard foul.

Right.

You're still down on the ground.

Yeah.

Those games are going on forever.

And I told you guys that while I didn't have imaginary friends that were the typical

imaginary friend that a kid would go out to the park with or in the backyard and play,

whatever, my imaginary

friends were like your middle child they were my basketball teammates and my life revolved around

my Nerf basketball hoop and I've talked about this in the past here on this show that around

third grade I got the first Nerf basketball hoop I think that was ever made it was

steel and it had a string net and came with a decent sized foam Nerf basketball then you just

clamp in a door right yeah either a closet door or your bedroom door had a little hook that you put on the closet door, closed it, and there you had a basketball.

So I had this basketball arena. I made a little scoreboard.

Oh, yeah, good facilities. Yeah, we had pretty good facilities. Third, fourth, and fifth grade,

we were the Amarillo Armadillos, because I was born in Amarillo. So we were a college basketball team.
