The Cowboys announced that Marshawn Neelan has passed away at the age of 24.

In the statement from the Cowboys, they say it is with extreme sadness that the Dallas Cowboys share that Marshaun Nealyn

tragically passed away this morning. Marciaan was a beloved teammate and member of our organization. Our thoughts and prayers

regarding Marciaan are with his girlfriend, Catalina, and his family. All right, that is quite

shocking news coming down here on the Cowboys by week, Marshawn Neeland, 24 years old, and news now becoming official,

Cowboys releasing a statement that he has passed away.

Wow, Calvin, this is terrible, terrible news.

Yeah, it is.

It's kind of hard to put in the worst because, you know,

he just scored his first touchdown off the block punt on Monday night.

And he was just such a, you know, good kid, a bubbly kid, you know, good to talk to.

I remember when he got drafted and wrote a story about him, how his mom, Wendy, passed away in the months before the draft.

And he was going to wear her ashes on a necklace and things like that.

And she died unexpectedly too from an illness.
