The news of the day, Marshawn Neeland, the Cowboys defensive end, found dead early this morning with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

After a police chase on the towway and a crash up in Frisco, they were searching around for Marshawn Neelan, and they found him about an hour and a half later with that self-inflicted gunshot wound.

His girlfriend mentioned to the police that he said something about ending it all and that he was heavily armed and that he has some issues with mental health.

And that resulted in the death of Marshawn Neeland.

We hate to have the reasoning for you to join us.

But I guess we can start at the very beginning and tell us exactly what you know.

I know I laid it down a little bit, but you can go right ahead.

Yeah, no, just a heartbreaking episode of events. You know,

there, and to go back just a little bit more before the chase, there was a, what

what police call a welfare concern. So a call was made about the concern for his welfare. So they went to his home.

He was not fair. My understanding is, you know, once they got to his home for the check,

he was already engaged in this chase along the tollway.

You know, I've heard, I haven't seen, but I've heard it's around, this was a high speed chase for sure.

And you know if a car gets away from the police, but I think they're, you know, I think

it may come out there.

It was up to 150, 160 miles per hour.
