I will refer to Ward Weaver Senior as Weaver, Ward Weaver Junior as Junior, and Ward Weaver III as Ward.

The saga of the Weavers began when Ward Weaver Senior was born in Los Angeles County, California.

Little is known about his early life and childhood, but he married Dorothy, who went by the nickname Dot, sometime before 1944.

Weaver and Dot met at a brothel where Dot worked.

The marriage was not a happy one or a stable one. There were no shortage of fights and abuse, both physical and verbal.

Dot and Weaver got into verbal altercations often, usually about sex.

When Weaver was especially mad, he would bring sex workers back to the house and beat them, making Dot watch.

Despite their rocky relationship, they had at least two children.

Among them, a son named Ward Junior in 1944 and a daughter Katie in 1945.

Weaver was a cruel man. He was accused of sexually assaulting his daughter as well as some of his granddaughters.

And while information on him is scarce, Weaver was not a well-loved man.
