In January of 1932, an Irishman named Michael Malloy was living in New York City. He was a

mysterious man and not much was known about him, but he did something that would leave a lasting

legacy as a result he'd come to be known as Iron Mike, Mike the Durable and the Juggernaut.

So who was Iron Mike? What happened to him? And what earned him his amazing nicknames?

Having failed to kill Iron Mike using a different plans, some of which were tried and failed

repeatedly, did the murder trust at last start thinking about calling off the plot?

Later, Murphy and Kreisberg accused each other of playing different roles in what happened

next, but one way or another, the gas was turned on, it went into Mike's lungs, and he passed on

to his eternal reward. On Wednesday, February 22nd, 1933, plan 9 had worked, and the unkillable

Iron Mike Malloy was finally dead, God rest his soul.

is Jimmy Aiken. Hey Jimmy, howdy Dom. In early 1933, New Yorkers Tony Marino, Frank Pasqua and others

belonged to a murder trust that killed Irishman Michael Malloy, but Mike Malloy proved extraordinarily

difficult to kill. The trust tried nine different plans to take his life, some of them multiple times,

and although they finally did away with him, his extraordinary ability to survive, despite not knowing

that his friends were trying to kill him, earned him nicknames like Iron Mike and Mike the Durable.

But what happened once he was dead? Did the conspirators get aware of their actions?
