Melanie Hall, born August 20th, 1970, was described by her parents as a, quote, young,

vibrant daughter. Having graduated from the University of Bath in 1995 with a nursing degree,

Melanie began working as a clerical officer at Bath's Royal United

Hospital. Living out her dreams, on June 8, 1996, her mother, Pat Hall, dropped Melanie off at her

boyfriend's home, where she planned on staying the night. Later that evening, the couple went off

to the Cadillac Nightclub in Bath with a few friends.

And according to the sources, at some point, Melanie Hall and Philip Carlbaum, her boyfriend,

began fighting. Seeing her dancing with another man, Philip left the club in anger, and Melanie was last seen at around

1.10 a.m. sitting alone on a stool. No one seemed to see her leave, and no one knew where she was.

So on June 11, 1996, the young woman was reported missing by her parents after she failed to show up at work.

According to the sources, Philip was absolutely devastated by his girlfriend's disappearance.
