Angel, Georgia's sister and advocate, discovered that Georgia's birth name was Georgia Leah Moses,

not Georgia Lee Moses.

Georgia's case has been publicized under the name Georgia Lee Moses for years.

And much of the work Angel has begun uses the name Lee in its social media branding.

The story of this discovery is complex and the systems that failed Georgia in life have become

more apparent as those seeking justice in her case continue their work.
