Summary

1:22.8	On May 12, 2007, Garnet Linux's Pontiac Bonneville was discovered on a 13,000 block of
1:39.1	Loretto street in what the Frazier Clinton Township Chronicle described as quote, Detroit's
1:44.5	East Side. Garnet, who was 40, had been missing from his Clinton Township home for days.
1:51.2	Per the Chronicle, his mother had filed a report with a Township Police Department on May 9.
1:56.9	The Detroit News gave the date of the missing persons filing as May 8.
2:02.1	Clinton Township is a suburb of Detroit. It lies north of the city. Nearly 200 years
2:08.2	ago, there were grand plans to make it the site of a canal that would carry travelers
2:13.8	up and down state. But per the historical society, money ran out and Clinton Township became
2:20.5	a sawmill town. Nowadays, it's home to 100,000 or so people, citizens who rate their schools
2:27.5	as above average, and it's run by leaders who describe the area as friendly to development.
