Before we get into today's case, I'd like to tell you a little bit more about Mike.

He's got 28 years of investigative experience, has worked hundreds of homicides, suspicious

deaths, infant fatalities and officer involved shootings.

And in his 13 years on the Union County Homicide Task Force, his closeout rate is almost

80%, 79.3%.

And that is pretty incredible. And in fact, that's why we have him here today to talk about one of his

cases that has been solved. And it was a case that Mike and his team brought to the behavioral analysis unit and we profiled it

back in the day. And Susan was the lead profiler on this case and Mike being one of the lead

detectives. So we thought it would be great to have him on the show and kind of go through

the case, what we knew at the time, the profile that we gave, and then ultimately how Mike

and his team ended up solving the case and how did we do with the profile as well. It's the murder of Diane Zaleski, who was discovered dead in her home on November 18th of 2010 in Union, New Jersey.
