This is the fall line.

Last time, we began on May 8, 2010. That was the Saturday before Mother's Day.

24-year-old Darren Gray had gone to Lafayette Park, commonly called city park in Norfolk, Virginia.

It was a place he knew well. His mother, Roycinda Alexander, had taken Darren and his

four siblings there throughout their childhoods. They'd grown up in a nearby neighborhood,

and Roycinda said that she'd always felt like a part of the community, at least until the events
