That's when the story first hit the newspaper.

Just two columns with her school photo,

15-year-old girl missing from Niles.

Her mother knew before that, though, as mothers often do,

that Becky was gone, that she didn't run away,

she wasn't misbehaving. Something happened to her. Her mother also knew who was responsible for her daughter's disappearance. It would just take a few years to prove her theory.
