Summary

20 year old Anna Kenny was walking to George Square in the centre of Glasgow to get a bus home when she was taken from the street and never seen alive again. Nobody has ever been convicted of her murder.

In 2021, along with co-author Chris Clark, I released a book, 'Gone Fishing' about serial killer Angus Sinclair where we suggested that Sinclair was responsible for the murder of Anna Kenny. Can it just be coincidence that Anna's friend who was with her on the night she went missing married Sinclair's brother-in-law Gordon Hamilton? And why did Sinclair and Hamilton argue so badly on the night ahead of the wedding that the two never spoke again - was this about Anna's murder?

0:57.6	Just weeks after Francis Barker and Leslie Perry were killed,
1:01.2	there was another murder of a woman in Glasgow.
1:04.5	20-year-old Anna Kenny left the Herdy-Gurdy pub in Lister Street in the town head district of Glasgow
1:11.2	on 6 August 1977 and was never seen alive again. Anna had been out of her friend and work colleague
1:18.9	Wilma Sutherland the night she disappeared. The two enjoying a drink celebrating their first
1:24.4	wages and their new jobs, as a nearby bottling plant in Port Dundas Road. It was a normal night
1:31.1	for the two women and they ranged to meet on Glasgow's High Street near the Royal Infirmary.
1:37.6	At the Busy Bar they drank vodka and beer and chatted to a number of their friends
1:42.0	who were in the bar at certain points of the evening. Towards the end of the night they met two young
1:47.3	men and they enjoyed each other's company. At the end of the night all four left together.
