Hi everyone. Welcome back to the Gen Z Girl podcast. My name is Abby Aslan and I'm the host of this podcast. Happy first episode of 2021, everyone. So today's episode, I'm really just going to be talking about getting over the fear of starting something new. I'm really just jumping right into it. I just think that this is something that I think everyone

0:22.6

could benefit from hearing right now with the start of a new year, with plenty of new opportunities

0:28.5

lying ahead for us for all of 2021 and the rest of our lives. And coming off of a year where, you know,

0:35.4

you may have started a bunch of new things accomplished a bunch of

0:38.9

things or maybe you literally just made it out alive and that alone is enough um i'm sure all of us

0:46.1

are feeling somewhat ready to just sort of step into what is out there for us what is you know on our path for life for us like what we are meant to be

0:57.4

doing and we're just feeling ready for that i know personally this new year's just feels so freaking

1:03.7

weird to me i'm like seeing everyone talk about like you know resolutions goals and like how

1:10.2

you know motivated they're feeling

1:12.0

and to be completely honest, I just don't, I mean, I feel really motivated in one aspect of my

1:16.8

life and that's really, like, my health and fitness. But other than that, like, I still just

1:20.1

feel in this, like, lull, honestly, and this is just me being honest with you all because I

1:24.8

never want to just be like, yeah, it's the new year and because

1:28.2

I'm supposed to like put off this image that everything is, you know, amazing. I'm really motivated.

1:35.5

I'm getting a lot done. I literally have not worked towards any of my goals at all. And it's like,

1:40.9

what, January 4th or January 3rd. so honestly it's okay you can start when you feel

1:48.9

ready to start and i mean you can't wait on feeling ready but if you know in your heart that

1:53.9

you are burnt out overwhelmed tired need a break by all means you need to do that before starting

2:00.0

something new and I'll get into

2:01.0

that later. But I technically have already talked about everything I'm talking about in this

2:05.7

episode before. If you've been around here since the beginning, this is kind of similar to my

2:10.7

very first episode and maybe one other one that I've done with talking about the fear of starting
