Tick-tock was welcomed by an outpouring of how stil- by Congress this week when they attempted

to press the FCEO over its security and privacy concerns.

The future of the app is yet to be decided as both Congress and the Biden administration

are weighing a ban of some sort on Tick-tock.

And while many members of Congress are certainly distancing themselves from Tick-tock, one

lawmaker is commanding the space.

Congressman Jeff Jackson has close to a million and a half followers.

He shares video explainers on topics including bank runs and the debt ceiling and aims to

pull back the curtain on political life.

But he says the security risks are real.

And he would support a ban if an American company doesn't buy the app.

It was just a straight thrashing.

Did you feel like it was an informed thrashing?

There were parts of it that were highly informed.

I thought actually some of the questions demonstrated a level of sophistication that we didn't

see frankly during the Facebook hearing when there was some memes going around afterward
