Went from my first walk today, not far, but still, it was a walk. Now, you hear me read this,

and you probably are thinking, oh, I know what this thing is. I heard that word in there.

Motivation. Motivation. And no, that's not it.

Because motivation is a feeling that sadly is like vapor. Here one moment, gone the next. That's why so many fitness goals, fitness-based

resolutions at the beginning of a new year fade. Because the motivation feels super strong

when you get started on January 2nd, you are ready to take on the world.

And after about a week, that motivation, like vapor, starting to fade, to dissipate.

And by two weeks, for most of us, it's completely gone.

They've actually done research and discovered that the day when most people will have given up a goal is 19 days in.
