Summary

It is easy to lead for God without listening to him. The word listen or hear is found more than 1500 times in the Bible. That is why the most important question every one of us must ask throughout our days is: “God, how are you coming to me, what might you want to say?” In this podcast, Pete gives specific examples of how he regularly applies this question to different areas of his life and discernment process.

1:10.0

We know God's will, which is maximize your life and your gifts. Think it through, of course. Be a good steward, but get it done. And the problem with that is it's missing something significant. It's biblically not the whole picture. We serve a living God who's active. He's moving. He's creating. He's

1:29.2

sustaining. He's doing the work. And that's why the most important question every leader needs to ask is,

1:35.1

God, how are you coming to me? What are you saying? Let me give you a text to frame our time together

1:41.2

here today, which is, it comes from Matthew chapter 17 when
