Summary
Speaking in front of audiences or sharing my message on podcasts is one of the best parts of my job, but I've gone through years of rejection, trial, and error to get to where I am today. I'm sharing insight into how to position yourself and get selected to speak at events, podcasts, and on other platforms. I break down the two main things that get my attention when someone pitches to speak at the Powerhouse Women event or on the podcast, and what to include in your speaker pitch.
I also explain how you could be selected to speak at this year's Powerhouse Women event! Two listeners will get chosen, work with me to perfect their speech, and then have five minutes to speak onstage at the event. I dive into exactly what we look for in the video submissions and what goes into our decision making process.
