What's the most dangerous job in America?

Working on an oil rig, being a logger, a roofer, law enforcement, firefighter,

fishing in the Bering Sea, all of them really dangerous, but not even close.

Not just because of the workload, it's a ton, not just because of the stress, unthinkable,

but because you literally have a target on your back.

After yet another assassination attempt on President Donald Trump, this is the third major

assassination attempt.

We've got to wrestle with something deeper than politics.

What does it actually do to a man when he's leading a nation knowing that someone is going to

try to kill you for it?

I mean, how do you sleep at night?

And when you wake up in the morning, what does that do to your

psyche? And what does that fact reveal about us as a nation? So I did some research. Let's just look at the

statistics. Roughly four out of 45 presidents have been assassinated. So that's close to 9%. So one out of 10. If you include

those who were shot or nearly killed, the number climbs even higher. And about one in five presidents

have died in office. Some from violence. They were killed. Others from the crushing

weight of the role itself. There is no OSHA safety chart that includes that. There's no job

warning when you become president that says, oh, by the way, people may try to kill you, and you need to sign a

waiver. Yet, every president knows it. Watch this. Race car drivers, I think it's very dangerous.
