Hello, I'm Dr. Steven Hassan, and I'm absolutely delighted to be with an old friend and colleague, Alan Tate Wood.

And I'm going to read a little bit about you, Alan, before we start.

But I want to just say we met in 1976 after I got deprogrammed from the Moone's,

and I think we were at a TV show or a radio show together, and we met for the first time.

And I'm just going to say it, when we first met met you said, oh, I left in 73 because they were

making people into fanatics like you, Steve. That's right. It was a clear memory of like, oh, so the

group was different before I got recruited. How interesting. And now I want to just

read a little bit about your life. Yes. So you were literally the American chief political officer

of the Unification Church in the United States. You were also what was another front

group called One World Crusade. You were a commander for the state of Maryland work and workshop

director and chief lecturer for the state of Maryland. But you also were an expert witness for the congressional subcommittee

investigation led by Donald Frazier into Korean CIA infiltration into the United States

and in their final report at 80 pages on the Moone's, I might add, which is on my Freedom of

Mine website. You also testified

to Her Majesty's High Court in London. Alan, was that the London Daily Mail lawsuit?

Yes, that's right. The Mooney's sued. The Daily Mail was sued by the Mooneys

because the Daily Mail had printed that they brainwashed individuals and broke up families.

And that was the longest libel suit in British history at that time.

And the Mooney's lost and the Daily Mail won.

Yeah, in other words, the court found the Mooney's brainwashed and broke up families. So,

and they had to pay damages. The Mooney's got to pay the London Daily Mail because that's how
