Here's a way to spend far more money than you perhaps anticipated, maybe just because

you want to buy that one nice thing.

So years ago, years and years ago.

I was gifted a beautiful pen, Mont Blanc, and you can't say it any other way.

You have to say it that way.

And it's gorgeous.

It's just, it was the nicest pen I'd ever owned.

I don't even know how much it cost.

It was a very kind gift.

And then one day after using the pen, much to my joy, every time I pulled it out to use

it, I just, I loved it.

But it started, well, it stopped working.

So I did what anyone would do, and I started a troubleshoot, and then I realized, wait a minute,

you have to buy refills for this pen.

And so I googled it, and the refills were, well, they were more than a bit.

We'll just say that.

So my Mont Blanc that sits here in my desk to my right.
