Welcome to Karen Hunter's awesome. I'm Karen Hunter and I am walking every day. I'm getting

0:16.2

at least 11,000 steps so far I have not missed a day. But nothing compares to the 19 Buddhist monks

0:24.2

who have made a decision to trek across this country 2300 miles across 10 states

0:31.9

for peace. I've been talking about the long walk, the Stephen King book that was turned into a film,

0:40.0

and I've talked with Roderick Sewell about walking with no legs and competing in a marathon,

1:41.3

be called the age of ignorance or the age of inhumanity.

1:45.3

We've had worse periods, I think, in our culture's history.

1:50.5

But I don't know how this period will be remembered because there's so many horrible things

1:55.1

and so many horrible people.

1:56.5

It just seems like there's almost an acceptance of inhumanity.

2:03.2

And here are these 19 monks and their little dog,

2:09.3

well, they're big dog, who's with them, their peace dog, who's walking along with them. He has his own Facebook page, actually, Aloka, the Peace Dog. You can follow him on Facebook. He's got a
