Why is it that we can go on at any given time and find out exactly how much Taylor Swift is making from her record

breaking concerts. We know instantly who the top paid quarterback in the NFL is because

the news breaks the minute he signs the contract, your top actor, actress, your top news anchor.

We know all this, but in comic books, that creator

cash is hidden. It's unknown. Why is that? Why is the comic community so quiet and hidden?

And the publishers about who's getting paid, what, where, when, and why we tackle it on an all new episode of

observations hey everybody yes it's that time again it is time for another

edition of Robeservations I am your host, Rob Leifeld. We talk all things. Comic books,

superheroes, comic books, superheroes, movies, video games, television, streaming, all of it,

how it's exploded across the decades since I was a little kid and superheroes weren't cool.

Trust me, I was there and I hid my comic books because

the other, the other kids would be like, oh my gosh, he's such a nerd, geek, you know,

comic books. Oh my gosh. It was associated with being childish and in, and less development, less developmently uh you know you you were stunted

that they believed oh poor little robbie he's into a comic book poor little robbie why can't his

parents get him out of comic books okay uh look comic books saved my life gave me a career 38 years going in strong five decades that's

that's my favorite thing uh another guy the other day printed like how he's been in five decades

and i'm like okay okay 80s 90s 2000s 2010s okay i'm in my fifth decade of doing this. I get it. We analyze comic books across the decades,

across the eras. We talk about comic book creators. We talk about comic book characters,

comic publishers, comic events, big giant movies that just shake, you know, pop culture and

reset every so often, giving a new character

of facelift and relevance that maybe they didn't have a few years prior.
