Moses was an infant when he was placed among the reeds of the Nile River. The reeds were a place that crocodiles nested. Why would his mother place him there? In the life of Moses we can see the sovereignty of God displayed in a majestic way. These reeds by the Nile River were used to make papyrus (paper). Everyone in the world that desired to write, they came to the Nile River for these reeds. The Greeks with their philosophy. The Romans with their laws. They used these reeds. In this podcast episode we discuss how Moses spent his entire life among these reeds and how this experience applies to us today.
