This week, the Catholic Church is getting ready to celebrate the great solemnity of Corpus Christi,

0:17.6

one of my favorite feast days of the year, where we celebrate the body of Christ, the gift of the Eucharist. But did you know that for the first 1,200 years of Christianity,

pilgrimage to Rome, who was having a great crisis of faith. Now, I want to be clear, this priest from Bohemia was

1:13.0

devout. He was a good man, but he was struggling that Jesus was really present in the Eucharist.

1:20.2

He was struggling with that belief. Does the sacred host really become the body and blood of Christ?

1:28.8

It just looks like bread.

1:31.4

And he wanted to believe, but he wasn't sure.

1:34.2

So he went down on pilgrimage to Rome.

1:36.1

He wanted to pray at the tomb of St. Peter,
