Thank you. In the 1990s, mankind discovered that we could turn the year into glasses, changing New Year's Eve parties forever. But in 2010 we hit a wall.

Nobody knew what to do with the one. Nobody.

Do you go around it? Do you go through it? I mean, it was a nightmare.

That's why we brought in Walter Schmidt.

Well, Walter was a big shot in the novelty glasses world. I mean,

straw glasses, googly-eye glasses, the one with the mustache.

He was responsible for all of that.

We had to convince him, because if it was up to him, we'd be waiting until 2040, because

that's the next year that would make sense.

You see, only the 0, 4, 6, 8, and 9 really lend themselves to glasses, giving us 5 usable

decades per century and 5 usable centuries per millennium.
